Our Story
Western Health Care started with a frustration anyone who has helped an aging parent in Calgary already knows. The hospital bed comes from one company. The stairlift from another. The compression stockings from a pharmacy across town. The ramp from somebody driving in from out of city. By the time everything is finally in place, the family is exhausted and the patient has been waiting weeks.
We built a different kind of store. One stop. One team. One phone number. From a single grab bar to a full barrier-free bathroom — every piece handled by people who live in Calgary, work in Calgary, and answer their own phone.
Our showrooms at 3651 19 ST NE, Calgary and Unit 3 – 6721 67 Avenue, Red Deer are open Monday through Friday, with free parking and wheelchair-accessible entrances. Walk in any time during business hours — no appointment required.

Our Journey
Started in NE Calgary with a simple promise: cover the whole home-health journey from one local store, so families never have to coordinate five vendors.
Partnered with leading North American lift manufacturers, brought factory-trained installation in-house, and committed to servicing every lift we sell.
A second showroom opens in Red Deer, extending the same service into the AHS Central Zone: equipment rental, compression fittings, stair lifts, porch lifts and elevators, ramps, washroom modifications, repairs, and free in-home assessments.
Growing our reach through the AHS Calgary and Central zones — Airdrie, Cochrane, Okotoks, Sylvan Lake, Lacombe, and beyond — while keeping the family-run feel that started it all.
